How the disease space is organized
Anatomy-based disease distribution and directly supported inheritance evidence.
Inheritance evidence
Composition of the molecular data
Gene/entity categories and consequence annotations mapped to canonical variants.
Gene and locus categories
Variant consequence annotations
Clinical stage and evidence structure
Direct therapeutic evidence remains distinct from target-overlap discovery relationships.
Source-reported maximum drug development stage
Disease–drug relationship space
Trials and clinical reports
Unique clinical evidence records are shown as central entities, with their disease and drug association layers around them.

Disease, gene and variant rankings
Select Top 20, 30, 40 or a custom number, search records, reorder results and export publication-ready charts and tabular data. Stacked chromosome colors show the distribution within each canonical entity.
Chromosome and ocular disease category distributions
Distinct disease-associated genes and variants. A gene or variant may contribute to more than one disease category, so totals across category memberships must not be treated as unique entities.
Trials, candidate therapeutics and evidence
Trial phases refer to the source clinical trial records, not each drug's maximum development stage. An association inferred from shared trial membership does not prove an indication or trial-arm assignment.
Disease–gene–drug connectivity
Select an ocular disease, explore disease–gene associations, direct disease–drug evidence and curated drug targets. Target-overlap-only edges are clearly separated from direct evidence.
PNG saves the labeled interactive radial view. SVG uses a spacious, publication-friendly layout with all selected node names. Both include only the currently selected network.
Interpretation: target overlap supports candidate discovery only; it is not evidence of clinical benefit. Numbers and node visibility depend on the selected disease and limit.
Follow ODDB relationships across data layers
Explore four focused Sankey views rather than one overloaded diagram. Select a flow, adjust the number of disease nodes, and tap or hover nodes for full labels.

Explore cross-layer connectivity
Swipe, use the arrows, or choose a map to move through circular relationship views. Edge width reflects the number of underlying ODDB associations.
ODDB usage and visitors
Visitor counts, country-level usage, downloads and popular records will be added after production analytics are deployed. Only aggregated, privacy-conscious public statistics will be shown.
